Temporary Contract, 6 Months
Part Time, 2 Days a Week

We are looking for a qualified Occupational Health Advisor to provide expert support on a part-time basis in Huddersfield. This is a 6-month contract, working 15 hours per week (2 days).

This is a role that will suit someone who is independent, organised, and comfortable building good relationships with HR teams, managers and employees.

Duties:

  • Carrying out health assessments and advising on fitness for work, workplace adjustments, and rehabilitation.

  • Overseeing health surveillance programmes, including assessments and follow-ups.

  • Providing clear advice on occupational health issues, risk assessments and health promotion.

  • Managing casework such as sickness absence reviews and return-to-work assessments.

  • Keeping accurate, confidential records in line with GDPR and company policies.

What we are looking for:

  • Registered Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC PIN.

  • Previous occupational health experience

  • A recognised occupational health qualification (e.g. Diploma or equivalent) is preferred.

  • Good understanding of occupational health legislation and best practice.

  • Confident communicator who can work independently.

  • IT literate and comfortable with health record management systems.
